Rhines municipality has determined the price of goat meat and goat meat targeting the festival. The municipality has set a price of Rs 600 per kilo for selling live goats and goats sold in the hot market to bring uniformity in prices, as the traders take advantage of the festive season. According to the cash subsidy procedure, 079 based on the production of agricultural and livestock products, the price of live goat meat has been fixed at 600 rupees per kg by the price determination committee.
A hot market will be held at the meeting point of Rhines Municipality-1 Borangkhola and Ward No. 8 on October 12 and 13, targeting Dasaintihar. Gokarnaraj Suyal informed that 14 and 15 assays hot bazaar will be conducted in Gaulitar garden of Ward No. 6 and Kusunde Garden of Ward No. 4. In previous years, during the festival, the municipality decided the prices targeting the festival, saying that the meat traders were charging arbitrary prices.
