OPD checkups for permanent residents of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis above 70 years of age will be free of cost.
Dhangadhi Sub-municipality is going to provide this service with the help of the Nepal Private Hospital Association. The decision was taken in the presence of the newly elected mayor of the sub-metropolis Gopal Hamal and the president of the private hospital association Janak Raj Joshi in Dhangadhi.
Independent candidate Hamal made the decision after winning the mayoral election by a landslide. The sub-metropolis have stated that the drug treatment identity card will be provided through the ward office to avail the services of concessional treatment.
