The first song ‘Keti Ko’ of the Bollywood movie ‘Uunchai‘ shot in Nepal has been released. The song with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, music by Amit Trivedi and vocals by Nakash Aziz was released on YouTube on Saturday. In the video of the song, the film’s lead actors Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa and Anupam Kher are seen in Dhaka Topi. Danny says at the beginning of the song that he wants to climb Mount Everest and relive his childhood with his friends.
The Dhaka Topi used in the song, the Keti Ko words and Danny’s wish to come to Everest and live his childhood indicate that the story of the film is also connected with Nepal. The film, which was mostly shot in the Himalayan region of Nepal, tells the story of friends who set out to climb Mount Everest in their old age. During the shooting of the film last year, the team, including the actors stayed in Nepal for more than a month. Written and directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, the film will hit the screens worldwide on November 11.
