Nepal Cricket Association has appointed Indian company Seven Three Sports as its strategic and business partner for the tournament. CAN sign a deal with Seven Three Sport last year as a strategic and business partner. The general assembly in Dhangadhi had approved the eight-year agreement with Seven Three Sports.
Seven Three Sports will provide Rs 33 crore to CAN for 8 years.

Minister for Youth and Sports Maheshwor Jung Gahatraj has said that the Nepal T20 League will help in the development of Nepali cricket, create new jobs and also help in the tourism business.
CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand had announced that the Nepal Premier League would be held with importance as soon as he is elected. But the name of the Nepal Premier League was in the name of another private person, CAN could not take ownership. After that, the board meeting of CAN decided to hold the ‘Nepal T20 League’.
