Actor Paul Shah, who absconded on rape charges, has been arrested by the police. Shah has been taken under control by the Tanahu police. Paul had absconded last Wednesday after a singer Samikshya lodged a complaint alleging rape. He will now face legal action. According to the police, the process including extension will start today.
The absconding accused Shah had said that he would appear before the police on social network Facebook today.
Before appearing before the police, he claimed his innocence through a video on social media. He reiterated that there was a conspiracy to deceive him from the very beginning. However, he said he would assist the police, the administration, and the court. Meanwhile, he has asked the police and the court to allow him to sit with the audience and watch the movie once.
