Gold and silver prices rose on Sunday. The price of gold has risen to close to one lakh per tola. Today, gold has risen by Rs 1,500 per ounce and silver by Rs 15 per ounce.
According to the Federation of Nepalese Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs, gold is being traded at Rs 99,200 per ounce and gold bullion at Rs 98,700 per ounce. Today, the price of silver has risen by Rs 15 per ounce to Rs 1,280, according to the federation.
Chhapawal gold was traded at Rs 97,700 per ounce and Tejavi gold at Rs 97,200 per ounce on Friday. Similarly, silver was traded at Rs. 1265 per ounce.
