Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of petroleum products. The corporation has increased petrol by Rs 8 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs 12 per liter with effect from 12 noon to night.
According to a statement issued by the corporation on Thursday, with the new price, petrol will cost Rs 178, diesel and kerosene Rs 165 per liter.
The price of LP gas has remained the same, the commission said. Earlier, the Oil Corporation had reduced the price of these three products by Rs. The corporation has stated that the price has to be increased due to the recent rise in the price of oil in the international market and the increase in the corporation’s deficit.
