The Bharatpur Metropolitan Corporation is going to provide free training to 2000 youth. Applications have also been requested to participate in the training. For this, people living within the Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality, who have passed at least 8th grade and completed 18 years of age and have not reached the age of 40, should contact the cooperative promotion branch, the metropolis said.
In accordance with the cooperative program and promotion policy and program of the financial year 2079/80, salons, plumbers, electricians, driving and demand-based ‘mayor entrepreneurship‘ training are going to be given. Renu Dahal, head of the Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality, has informed that they are going to provide free training for a minimum of six months based on demand. It is said that the Metropolitan Municipality will provide technical training according to the wishes of the youth.
Chief Dahal said that since it is the responsibility of the local government to promote employment, training is being conducted with the aim of promoting more employment. She informed that in the current year, the Metropolitan Municipality has allocated a 15 million budget for the production of skilled manpower and promotion of employment targeting the youth.
