On Sunday, the first trading day of the week, there was a general improvement in the NEPSE index. On Sunday, the NEPSE index increased by 6.68 points to 1977.30 points. Similarly, the sensitive index increased by 0.57 points, while the float index increased by 0.44 points, and the sensitive float index increased by 0.65 points.
28 lakh 76 thousand shares worth 1 billion 76 million rupees were bought and sold in 227 companies that came into business on Sunday. Out of the 13 subgroups of NEPSE, the index of 9 subgroups increased while the index of the remaining 4 subgroups decreased. In which the index of non-life insurance sub-group increased by 1.85 percent. Similarly, the index of the development bank sub-group increased by 1.5 percent.
Shares of Ruru Hydropower Project traded at positive circuit levels on Sunday. The share price of Himalayan Everest Insurance has increased by more than 9 percent, while that of Joshi Hydropower has increased by more than 8 percent. On the other hand, the share price of Support Microfinance decreased by about 3 percent on this day. On Sunday, Reddy Power’s shares worth 89.1 million rupees were traded.
